Windsor police have arrested a 29-year-old man following a sexual assault on the weekend.
Officers were called to a home on Harrison Avenue near Girardot Street on Sunday for a report of a sexual assault. Police were then told that the victim and the suspect had connected on social media and agreed to meet in person.
The suspect is said to have driven the victim to the home, then allegedly sexually assaulted her and prevented her from leaving.
The suspect turned himself in at Windsor police headquarters on Tuesday afternoon.
He is charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement.
The charges have not been proven in court.
