Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash in Amherstburg

A 70-year-old man is fighting for his life after a weekend collision in Amherstburg.

It occurred around 9 p.m. Sunday on Front Road North, south of River Canard. Officers from Windsor police's Amherstburg detachment responded to a collision involving a motorcycle.

Police determined that the motorcycle was traveling on Front Road North when it was struck from behind by another vehicle.

The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene.
