Charges in stabbing on Wyandotte Street East

A 55-year-old man faces aggravated assault charges after a stabbing on Tuesday morning on Wyandotte Street East.

Windsor Police responded to a fight on Wyandotte between Marentette Avenue and Parent Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old man with two stab wounds.

Paramedics took him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the incident started as a verbal argument and escalated.

Officers found the suspect in a nearby alleyway on Brant Street.

The suspect is also charged with failure to comply with a probation order.
