Another season of fun has wrapped up at Windsor's splash pads.
Thanksgiving Monday was the last day of operation for the city's splash pads for the 2025 season. The pads are now closed.
City crews will also begin the process of closing outdoor washrooms, starting on Wednesday.
All should be closed by the end of this month, after water lines are drained, antifreeze is applied where necessary, and the buildings are secured.
Employees will begin routine maintenance and inspections of each facility, which will take place over the next month, to ensure that each location is ready for reopening in May 2026.
Residents are encouraged to partake in the city's numerous recreation offerings during the fall and winter.
