Residents are being asked to vote in a new councillor on Monday in a byelection to replace Sue Desjarlais who died last April.
The winner of Monday's byelection will be sworn in on October 28 and hold office until the next municipal election on November 14, 2026.
Residents in LaSalle will vote online, but those who need help can attend LaSalle's Voter Help Centre at the LaSalle Civic Centre.
Voters must reside in LaSalle, be a Canadian citizen, and at least 18-years-old.
Voters should have received their Voter Information Letter in the mail with the code needed to cast their ballot online.
Seven candidates are in the running. They are Robbie Durling, Brad Krewench, Tory McKay, Brandon Meloche, Robert Moore, Kate Paddon, and Mike Seguin.
Advance polling started on October 10 and residents can vote up until 8 p.m. on Monday night.
The results should be available later in the evening.
