One displaced in west Windsor weekend fire

One person is looking for a place to stay after a fire in west Windsor over the weekend.

Windsor Fire and Rescue crews were called shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday to a home on Bloomfield Road near Chippawa Street. When firefighters arrived, they noticed smoke pouring from the first floor of a two-story row house.

About 30 firefighters worked to extinguish the fire within half an hour of the call. Essex-Windsor EMS and Windsor police assisted at the scene.

No injuries were reported, but two pets were rescued, and one person was displaced.
