City launches ward meetings across Windsor

The City of Windsor is inviting residents to meet with their ward councillor and senior city staff in a series of ward meetings, with the first on Tuesday.

It's an opportunity to express your thoughts about neighbourhood priorities, challenges, and opportunities.

This year, some of the ward meetings are being held at the same time and location.

Tuesday's meeting for wards 2 and 3 will be held at the All Saints' Anglican Church at 330 City Hall Square West from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Councillor Renaldo Agostino will host the meeting.

Wards 4, 5, and 10 will have their meeting on Thursday, November 6, at the Caboto Club from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Councillors Mark McKenzie, Ed Sleiman, and Jim Morrison will be in attendance.

Ward 1's meeting with Councillor Fred Francis is set for Wednesday, November 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex.

On Tuesday, November 18, it's wards 6, 7, and 8's turn. That meeting will be at the reception hall at the WFCU Centre on McHugh Street. Councillors Jo-Anne Gignac, Angelo Marignani, and Gary Kashak will be there.

Finally, Ward 9's meeting with Councillor Kieran McKenzie will be at the Windsor Christian Fellowship on Seventh Concession Road on Wednesday, November 19. It also starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m.
