After winning just their second gold medal at the provincial championships, a letdown for the St. Clair College Saints' women's soccer team in Red Deer, Alberta.
The Saints lost to the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics in the National Quarterfinal, 1-0.
The Saints got off to a nervous start, but found their footing after the first 15 minutes. However, the team couldn't score against the Mystics ' goalkeeper, Morgan Gillis.
Mount Saint Vincent scored the winning goal early in the second half.
Victoria Walsh was named the player of the game for St. Clair, and keeper Morgan Gillis was named the top player for MSVU.
