Brentwood Lottery celebrate first big win of the year

The Brentwood Dream Home Lottery is in full swing with in-person ticket sales at Devonshire Mall and weekly early-bird draws.

To celebrate the launch of sales at the mall, Brentwood handed over the keys for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee to Michael and Janice Pare, who won the week four draw.

Executive Director Sonja Grbevski indicated the Brentwood Dream Home Lottery is Brentwood Recovery Home's largest annual fundraiser.

"This is what allows us to remain whole, to not have to reduce beds, and to continuously chip away at our waitlist, we are experiencing a waitlist," said Grbevski.

Currently, the home has 43 funded recovery beds but runs around 50 beds on average.

After receiving their new car, the Pare's donated $5,000 back to Brentwood.

“As someone who found recovery at Brentwood, this place will always be a part of my life. I volunteer here because I want others to have the same chance I did. Donating back the $5,000 was our way of supporting the next person who walks through Brentwood’s doors.”

Weekly early bird draws continue until December 31, 2025.

"We still have a lot of prizes, we have the 50/50 that are ongoing, we have the big toy package, we have our dream vacation, we have the tech package, so there's a lot more prizes out there, a lot of fun stuff," said Grbevski.

Tickets are on sale until December 31, 2025. The grand prize draw is January 10.
