Do you have a neighbour who went all out with the Christmas decorations this season? Or maybe you've outdone yourself in true Griswold fashion.
Windsor-Tecumseh MPP Andrew Dowie wants to hear about it, and he wants proof.
Until December 15, residents in the riding of Windsor-Tecumseh are invited to nominate their neighbours or a nearby business that is dedicated to spreading holiday cheer to all who pass by.
"The Griswold Awards give us a chance to recognize the effort our neighbours put into making the holiday season special, and we're excited to continue that celebration this year," said Dowie.
The awards are inspired by the outrageous decorating efforts of Clark Griswold from the movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Making a nomination is easy. Just email the name and address of the resident, organization, or business that has gone above and beyond with their Christmas decor to andrew.dowie@pc.ola.org. Include a photo of the holiday display as an attachment.
The top ten nominees will receive a certificate from Dowie's constituency office.
