Windsor firefighters have spent much of Wednesday morning handling a fire in the east end.
Windsor Fire and Rescue reported a call from Benjamin Avenue near Tecumseh Road East shortly before 9 a.m. Crews arrived to find smoke pouring from a mixed-use building.
Up to 30 firefighters were on scene handling the incident. Fire was reported in an attached garage at the rear of the property.

Windsor police, Essex-Windsor EMS, and EnWin Utilities are on scene. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
