Three charged after several guns, cocaine seized

Three people are facing charges after Windsor police seized multiple firearms and ammunition during a recent investigation.

As part of the investigation, police searched a home on Charl Avenue on Tuesday.

During the search, officers seized a Federation SPM 12-gauge shotgun, a Taiga Wolverine XM Sulun Arms 12-gauge shotgun, a SKS semi-automatic rifle, an EMEI TT9 & NSR-A 5.56mm semi-automatic rifle, and a Kel-Tec Sub-2000 9mm semi-automatic carbine. They also recovered ammunition, 756.9 grams of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, three cellphones, and around $25,000 in cash.

A 35-year-old has been charged with possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, having ammunition readily available, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

A 40-year-old and 38-year-old are also facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
