Despite a decline in overall sales, Stellantis Canada said 2025 ended strongly for its two Windsor-built minivans.
The automaker released its sales figures for the fourth quarter of the year on Monday, which showed an 11 per cent decrease in sales compared to the same quarter in 2024. Full-year sales were down 12 per cent year-to-year.
However, the Chrysler Pacifica made its case as the continued best-selling minivan in Canada.
In the fourth quarter, 2,970 vehicles were sold in Canada, a whopping 133 per cent increase from the same period in 2024.
For all of 2025, there were 10,671 Pacificas sold, a 95 per cent rise from all of the previous year.
The lower-end Chrysler Grand Caravan, also built at Windsor Assembly, saw sales gains in 2025.
Stellantis sold 1,148 Grand Caravans in the fourth quarter for an 18 per cent year-to-year sales increase. In 2025 as a whole, 6,017 vehicles were sold, 30 per cent more than in 2024.
"Canadian-assembled Chrysler Pacifica and Grand Caravan minivans sustained strong growth throughout the year, posting a 65 per cent increase compared to the previous calendar year and solidifying their position as the number one selling minivans in Canada," read a release from Stellantis Canada.
The Windsor-built Dodge Charger Scat Pack first appeared in showrooms in December.
Other Stellantis vehicles that saw sales gains in 2025 were the Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck and the Jeep Compass, which recorded its best year in Canada to date.
