The Ontario Provincial Police in Kingsville are investigating after a resident received a call from a business to say their credit card had been used fraudulently.
Police say the call display matched the business phone number, so the victim told the caller their credit card number.
It wasn't the business calling, and the card was used to purchase items.
The OPP reminds the public to always confirm any security requests by calling the business back, and to never trust call display, texts, or emails.
Police have released a photo of the suspect and ask anyone who recognizes the man to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or go to www.catchcrooks.com.
