Four arrested after $200K theft

Windsor police have arrested four people after $200,000 worth of material was stolen from a business on Boxing Day.

Police report the break-in happened early in the morning of December 26 on Eugenie Street. They say the property was accessed through a hole in the fence and the suspects stole a a cargo van, computers, various tools, copper, and other valuable metals.

Factory machinery was significantly damaged during the theft.

Windsor police arrested three suspects last weekend. The fourth suspect was arrested by the Chatham Kent Police Service on January 5.

The suspects are facing a number of charges including break and enter, theft, mischief, uttering forged documents and failure to comply with a probation order.
