A joint initiative between Windsor police and LaSalle police had a productive 2025.
A report on the Offender Management Unit was released on Friday, highlighting the bail compliance unit's performance last year.
Among them were 118 arrests of wanted individuals for bail-related warrants, more than double the 56 arrests in 2024.
Unit officers also completed 312 bail compliance checks, as well as 21,524 GPS monitoring checks.
The unit also prepared 98 bail packages, which provided courts with detailed information about an individual’s history and risk to help guide bail decisions, set appropriate conditions, and support public safety.
The initiative is supported through a $2.2-million provincial grant.
