Windsor-Essex residents trying to connect with the emergency number on Wednesday may be having difficulty.
Essex-Windsor EMS has confirmed that Bell has reported issues with connecting to 911.
Some people trying to call 911 from a landline may be getting a busy signal, and those using a cellphone may experience delays in getting their call through.
EMS said that anyone in the City of Windsor, Essex County, or Pelee Island needing an ambulance but having trouble with 911 should call 1-800-265-5840.
Bell said it is working to correct the issue.
More to come.
