Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said in a social media post that they were called to the scene near Wyandotte Street East and Victor Drive at 8:15 a.m. Saturday.
They included that the two dogs were found deceased by fire crews and that the firefighter who was injured was treated at the scene by EMS.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
