Windsor to get its first MR. SUB

Later this spring, a new MR. SUB will open in Windsor on Tecumseh Road East near Princess Avenue.

The restaurant will be owned and operated by Brijesh Patel, who chose Windsor for its strong sense of community and growing local food scene.

"Windsor felt like the right fit for MR. SUB," said Patel. "It's a city with pride, loyal local customers, and a real appreciation for quality food."

MR. SUB has over 200 locations across Canada, but the location in Windsor is the first in Windsor-Essex.

"MR. SUB has a long history in Canada, and we're proud to continue that tradition here," added Patel. "Whether it's the classics people grew up with or our newer Fired-Up Faves, we're looking forward to serving fresh, satisfying meals and becoming part of the Windsor community."

The company didn't say how many jobs the new restaurant will create, but said there will be local employment opportunities.

MR. SUB was founded in Toronto in 1968.
