Police search for a suspect after bar worker assaulted

A bar employee is recovering, and Windsor Police are looking for a suspect after an assault in a bar two weeks ago.

Police were called to a bar on Ouellette Avenue between Park Street and Maiden Lane on January 13.

Their investigation revealed that a woman inside the bar confronted a male patron about the shirt he was wearing.

After he left, the woman began recording the female bar worker and accused her of supporting the message on the man's shirt.

She was asked to leave, but instead she allegedly kneed the worker in the face several times.

Then she fled.

Police are looking for a white woman between 35 and 45-years-old, with brown hair and brown eyes.
