Circular Materials schedules old recycling bin pick up

Circular Materials has reached an agreement with the City of Windsor to dispose of old recycling bins.

Residents with old recycling bins or carts can register online to have Circular Materials pick up the bins.

The bins must be empty of recyclable material and cannot have anything stuck on or inside.

Residents can register through an online form until February 8, 2026.

Collection will happen by zone between Tuesday, February 10 and Friday, February 20.

You will receive a copy of your collection date by email after you register. Bins must be out before 6 a.m.

The Essex Windsor Solid Waste Authority advises residents they can also drop off their old bins EWSWA Depots from January 15 to April 15, 2026. The carts and bins will be recycled. Drop off locations include:

-Public Drop Off (Windsor): 3560 North Service Rd. East (on the corner of E.C. Row and Central)

-Transfer Station #2 (Kingsville): 2021 Albuna Townline

-Regional Recycling Depot (Essex): 7700 County Rd. 18

Essex County residents who cannot access a drop-off location can call 1-800-563-3377 to register for a pick-up. Pick-ups will be scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays between February 4 and April 15, 2026.
