WPS conduct 9th raid at downtown dispensary

Windsor police seized crystal meth and LSD from a magic mushroom shop in downtown Windsor.

On January 30, Windsor police officers raided the shop on Ouellette Avenue for the ninth time.

During the search, officers seized crystal methamphetamine, LSD gummies, LSD tabs, LSD drops, dried psilocybin, psilocybin chocolate bars, dried psilocybin candy, psilocybin gummies, psilocybin capsules, psilocybin tea, DMT vape pens, psilocybin enigma, and psilocybin candy cones.

The total value of the drugs seized is estimated at $13,368.

This operation highlights the risk posed by illegitimate and unmonitored activities involving the sale of controlled substances,” said Inspector David DeLuca. “In addition to psilocybin, our officers seized LSD and crystal methamphetamine. This marks the ninth warrant executed at this location, as the Windsor Police Service continues to pursue remedies through the courts to address ongoing unlawful activity associated with this business.”

A 35-year-old employee who was on the scene at the time of the raid was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking in a controlled substance.
