Warrant issued for man accused of sexual assault and forcible confinement of a minor

A warrant for the arrest of a 39-year-old man who may have fled to Saskatchewan has been issued by the Windsor Police Service.

Investigators with the Windsor Police Service Child Abuse Sexual Assault Unit are looking for Matthew Lewis Rivest in connection with the sexual assault and forcible confinement of a minor.

He is also wanted in connection with a separate criminal harassment investigation.

Rivest is wanted for sexual assault, sexual interference, assault, forcible confinement, and three counts of criminal harassment.
