Circle of Seven ends 30th anniversary year with $84K in community grants

The Circle of Seven supported fifty community organizations this year with $84,000 of donations this year.

The funds were raised through the groups two signature events the John Ferguson Memorial Golf Tournament and the Denim & Diamonds Gala.

"We're proud of the events, they're very successful and that's attributed to the support of the patrons and the sponsors that we have. We have fund doing this and what better way to cap it then to provide funds to organizations that do so much in our community," said Circle of Seven President Tony Haddad.

Last year, the organization celebrated 30 years of philanthropy in the community.

"It was a very successful year, celebrating 30 years in the Windsor-Essex community. I'm very proud of what we do and our ability to share our proceeds with all these wonderful groups," said Haddad.

Organizations supported include the Downtown Mission, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, the Salvation Army, Windsor/Essex County Humane Society and Autism Windsor-Essex.
