Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a 13-year-old has been charged following an incident on Wednesday in Belle River.
Few details have been released, but officers from the Lakeshore detachment responded to a complaint about somebody making threats.
The teen was arrested and is now charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
No one was hurt, and there were no public safety concerns raised.
The teen can't be identified under the Ontario Youth Criminal Justice Act.
