A 32-year-old man is facing multiple charges after an incident on Baseline Road Sunday morning.
Windsor police report they were called to a disturbance on Baseline Road just after 4 a.m. When they arrived, it was reported that two men got into an argument that escalated when one man allegedly assaulted the other. Witnesses told police a woman intervened and she was also assaulted.
The suspect then allegedly got into a vehicle and drove away despite a court ordered driving prohibition. The car struck a parked vehicle and the front of the house as it left the property.
Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The house had structural damage from the collision .
An officer located the car and tried to stop it but the suspect refused and drove away. The vehicle was found abandoned on 9th Concession Road near County Road 17.
The suspect was found in a concealed attic in Windsor and taken into custody.
The man is facing charges of assault, dangerous operation of a vehicle, operation of a vehicle while prohibited, flight from a police officer and failing to comply with a release order.
The charges have not been proven in court.
