Local Rotary Club opens grant application window

The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) is paying it forward with its 2026 round of community grants.

The application process for its Community Service Grants opened this week. This time, $56,500 is available.

Local community groups and agencies may apply for funding, which is made possible by proceeds generated from last year's Art in the Park festival at Willistead Manor in Windsor.

The club is once again focusing its grants on groups that support children and youth.

"Through proceeds raised at Art in the Park, our Community Service Grants provide meaningful funding to organizations that support, empower, and uplift children and their families across Windsor-Essex," said Grant Chair Janice Forsyth. "Over the years, we’ve seen these funds used in unique and impactful ways, from breakfast programs and sensory activities to music initiatives. While each program is different, they all provide tremendous value to the children and families who rely on them."

Funding may support initiatives that strengthen support for vulnerable children and families, reinforce support for youth mental health programs, and support existing service programs for children and youth.

Applications for grants up to $5,000 are now being taken through March 27, with recipients notified by April 30.

Complete information can be found on the Rotary Club's official website.
