Work to improve the amenities at Wilson Park in Windsor gets underway on Tuesday as part of the Reimagined Adie Knox Herman Recreation Complex project.
The city is installing a new parking area, drainage improvements, lighting, and new asphalt pathways.
The drainage improvements will be paid for, in part, with funding from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities' Green Municipal Fund and the Government of Canada.
The park is closed to the public while the work continues, but the project should wrap up by the end of May.
