The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating two crashes in Essex County on Wednesday, both of which are blamed on impaired driving.
The first one was in Tecumseh.
The OPP were called to Tecumseh Road at Dorset Park around 5:10 p.m. after a collision.
A 59-year-old Windsor woman was arrested and faces two impaired driving charges, operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs, and operation of a motor vehicle while over the legal blood alcohol limit.
The second crash was around 9:30 p.m.
A vehicle went into the ditch on Ferris Road near 5th Concession Road in Essex.
A 57-year-old Essex man is now charged with impaired driving, failure or refusal to comply with a demand, and operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited.
Both drivers had their licenses suspended for 90 days, and their vehicles were impounded for a week.
