Windsor police have arrested one suspect and are looking for two others after a stolen vehicle was used during a break and enter on Sunday.
Just after 3 a.m., two people were seen on surveillance footage stealing a 2017 Dodge Charger from the driveway of a home on Meldrum Road.
Several hours later, the stolen vehicle was driven to a business on Riverside Drive East near Walker Road. Police report there were three people in the vehicle.
Police say the suspects used bolt cutters to cut a hole in the fence of the property and then attempted to break into a tractor-trailer on the property.
A security guard spotted them, and the suspects took off in the Dodge Charger.
One of the suspects was identified and arrested on Ouellette Avenue on Wednesday.
The 46-year-old is facing charges of break and enter, theft of a motor vehicle, wearing a disguise to commit a crime, possession of break-in instruments, and failure to comply with a release order.
Police are still looking for two suspects.
The first suspect is described as a White man with a large build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black ski mask, grey hoodie, red T-shirt, dark brown pants, and black Nike shoes with white soles.
The second suspect is described as a White woman with a slender build. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black jacket with the hood up, black pants, light-coloured socks, and a scarf.
