Police arrest 12 in Glengarry neighbourhood

The Windsor Police Service laid a dozen charges in the Glengarry neighbourhood last week, continuing its community safety initiative.

Since August 2025, police have partnered with the Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation and community services to reduce instances of crime in the neighbourhood.

Between March 11 and 13, the Problem-Oriented Policing Unit conducted an enforcement blitz at two apartment buildings on Glengarry Avenue.

Officers made 12 arrests and laid 12 charges, more than half of which were related to failure to comply with release orders and breaches of probation.

Since launching the initiative, police have recorded a significant drop in property crimes and crimes against people.
