Police looking for third suspect in sexual assault investigation

The Windsor Police Service have arrested two suspects and is looking for another in relation to human trafficking and sexual assault.

The Windsor Police Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit (CASA) launched an investigation in February after receiving a report of sexual assault.

Investigators said between January 27 and February 17, a female victim was sexually assaulted by two men and a woman whom she had met recently. The pair allegedly controlled her movements and attempted to coerce her into participating in sexual acts in exchange for money.

Police added the victim further reported she was transported to various locations by the two men and was told to engage in sexual activity with clients.

Through the investigation, CASA unit members identified two suspects. A 40-year-old man was arrested in Hamilton on March 5, and a 47-year-old woman was arrested in east Windsor on March 12. Both suspects have been charged with sexual assault, human trafficking, and procurement of sexual services.

Police are looking for the third suspect, known only as 'JJ', and he is described as a tall black male with short black hair, a moustache, and a beard.

Anyone with information that may help in identifying the suspect is asked to contact the Windsor Police Service CASA Unit.
