Three wanted after a home invasion in Windsor's west end

Windsor Police are on the lookout for three suspects after a home invasion early Sunday morning in the city's west end.

Just after 4 a.m., three masked men forced their way into a home on Linwood Place, where they pointed a firearm at a woman and threatened her.

She wasn't injured.

The trio took personal items and cash before leaving in a white SUV with tinted windows and no front license plate.

Investigators are imploring residents on Linwood Place to review their dash cam or security camera footage between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on March 15 for potential evidence.

Anyone with information can call the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or go to www.catchcrooks.com.

The first suspect is a black man between 18 and 25, who was armed with a black handgun. He wore dark pants, a winter jacket, and black shoes.

The second suspect is a black man, also between 18 and 25 years old, wearing light-coloured pants, a puffer jacket, and black shoes.

The third suspect is also a black man, around the same age, wearing dark-coloured ripped jeans and black shoes.
