The global engineering and digital solutions company, SOLIZE PARTNERS, has announced a close-to $2 million investment in Windsor, creating approximately 40 new engineering and technical jobs in the region.
The city was chosen due to its strong automotive heritage, diverse technical talent, and proximity to Detroit, which allows easy collaboration with the company's U.S location.
"This nearly $2-million investment, and the creation of high-tech engineering jobs, further strengthens our position as a leading destination for global companies looking to innovate and grow in North America," said Gordon Orr, chief executive officer of Invest WindsorEssex.
In February of 2026, Joe Goncalves, vice president of investment attraction and strategic initiatives for Invest WindsorEssex, was invited to their Tokyo location to meet with Yusuke Inoue, the president of the company, to discuss how the engineering firm can support and serve the Windsor-Essex region.
Windsor partners were also welcomed into SOLIZE PARTNERS' Global Engineering Centre in Yamato, Kanagawa, where they toured a 3D printing factory, offering a close look into prototype drones and thermal management components, simulation and 3D printing technologies, and 3D-printed parts for the automotive industry.
"Companies from around the world are choosing our region because of our highly skilled workforce, our deep roots in automotive and advanced manufacturing, and our unmatched access to global markets," said Mayor Drew Dilkens.
The investment aims to create 20 to 40 local jobs over the next two to three years.
Additionally, the company intends to help Canadian manufacturers boost their engineering industry by leveraging SOLIZE PARTNERS' global engineering network across various offices in India, Japan, China, and Thailand.
