A section of Front Road in LaSalle was closed on Thursday evening due to an active police investigation.
LaSalle police posted on social media that officers closed Front Road between Malden Road and Martin Lane shortly after 7 p.m.
Few details have been released, but police reported that with the help of the OPP, LaSalle officers executed a search warrant and took one person into custody two hours later.
There was never any threat to public safety, and the road has since reopened.
"The LaSalle Police Service would like to thank the motoring public and local residents for their patience and cooperation while officers dealt with this incident," read the post from Facebook.
