Police seek suspects in assault

The Windsor Police Service has issued an arrest warrant and is looking for a second suspect after an assault at a business in downtown Windsor.

Police were called to the business on Ouellette Avenue just after 3 p.m. on March 14. Officers were told a woman entered the business, made a purchase and left. She then returned with a man claiming she received the wrong product.

There was a verbal altercation between the employee and the suspects. The man then began throwing and damaging items in the store. Both suspects then allegedly assaulted the employee.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 37-year-old Jerome Findleter on charges of assault with a weapon and mischief under $5,000.

The woman has not been identified. She's described as Black around 30 to 45 years old, 5'4" tall with a medium build and black hair. At the time of the incident she was wearing a grey sweater, beige toque, blue jeans and black-and-white running shoes.
