Two arrested, one on the run after convenience store assault

Two people have been arrested and a third is being sought after an incident at a west Windsor business.

Windsor police were called to a convenience store on Chippawa Street near Bloomfield Road at about 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Three males entered the store and were ordered to leave by an employee because of their behaviour. Two of the suspects held the employee while the third pointed a gun at them.

A 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were arrested soon after. Both are charged with assault and assault with a weapon.

A 15-year-old boy, who can't be identified under the Ontario Youth Criminal Justice Act, is at large.
