Two suspects arrested, one at large, in violent home invasion

Police have arrested two suspects wanted after a violent home invasion in Windsor earlier this week, but they are still looking for a third person.

Just before 12:30 a.m. on Monday, two masked men armed with a firearm forced their way into a home on Radisson Court.

Once inside, they threatened the occupants with the firearm. The residents were threatened, and one gunshot was fired.

The suspects got away with cash, jewellery, and a red 1973 Ford Mustang.

The car was later located on Tecumseh Road near Ouellette Avenue.

Police were able to quickly identify two of the suspects, and one was arrested Tuesday evening on Reginald Street. The second was picked up the following day by the OPP-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad in Kemptville.

The two are charged with discharging a firearm, robbery with an offensive weapon, assault with a weapon, assault, forcible confinement, two counts of pointing a firearm, occupying a vehicle with a firearm, break and enter, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. They also face counts for possession of a firearm while prohibited.

A third suspect is still at large.
