The issue of stunt driving over the weekend was not exclusive to Windsor police.
LaSalle police say a driver was stopped on Sunday for alleged stunt driving.
A patrol officer was monitoring traffic on Front Road when they clocked a driver going 111 kilometres per hour. The speed limit is 70 kilometres per hour.
The 50-year-old driver from Windsor was stopped and charged with stunt driving, and driving while suspended.
His licence remains suspended, and his vehicle is impounded for 14 days.
The charges have not been proven in court. The driver will have a chance to respond during a future court date.
The traffic stop came after Windsor police reported two stunt drivers on Friday alone. Both drivers, a 19-year-old man and a 70-year-old man, were clocked going more than double the 50-kilometre-per-hour speed limit.
