Residential home sales in Windsor-Essex were down in April, and the price of homes is declining too.
According to the monthly sales report from the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors, sales were down 3.53 per cent in April compared to the same month in 2025.
The average price of a home sold in Windsor-Essex was $572,150, down 1.11 per cent from the same month last year.
There were 1,333 residential listings throughout the community, up 8.2 per cent.
For the first four months of the year, prices were down 3.81 per cent, and sales were down 3.53 per cent.
There were more options on the market for home buyers with 1,333 listings for April 2026, up 8.2 per cent from 2025.
