An investigation by the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit led to the seizure of nearly $50,000 worth of illegal drugs.
The investigation into a report of a person with a firearm was launched earlier this month.
Police say they arrested a 37-year-old man on Ouellette Avenue on Thursday. Officers seized 607 oxycodone tablets, 25 hydromorphone tablets, 0.5 grams of fentanyl, and $90.
The Emergency Services Unit searched a home on Wyandotte Street East near Westchester Drive later in the day and seized two replica firearms and one revolver pellet gun with ammunition.
The man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a dangerous weapon.
