The province's police watchdog was called after a collision involving a vehicle that was fleeing from a Windsor police officer.
Just after 8 a.m. Friday, an officer tried to stop a vehicle on Walker Road.
The car tried to speed away and collided with another vehicle.
Two people taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
After the incident, the Windsor Police Service contacted the Special Investigation Unit. The SIU invoked its mandate and is not investigating the circumstances around the incident.
Walker Road between Sydney Avenue and Foster Avenue was closed for several hours for the investigation.
