Windsor police investigating vehicle theft

Windsor police are asking residents in a south Windsor neighbourhood for help in a vehicle theft investigation.

On Monday, May 25, officers were called to a home on Huntington Avenue after a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant told police he returned from a weekend trip to discover his 2024 Ineos Grenadier was stolen.

Police report their investigators identified a suspect who was seen walking northbound on Huntington Avenue just before 10 p.m. on May 22. The suspect entered the vehicle and left southbound.

The suspect is described as a 6' tall man with brown hair. At the time of the incident, he wore a black hooded sweatshirt.

Investigators are asking residents and drivers in the area of Huntington Avenue and Medina Street to check their surveillance camera footage between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on May 22 for evidence related to the investigation.
