A 47-year-old is facing charges after allegedly driving while impaired and with a suspended licence.
Just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday, the Windsor Police Service received reports of a vehicle crossing into oncoming traffic and hitting construction pylons in the area of Malden Road and Front Road.
Officers stopped the driver on Sandwich Street South and said they saw physical signs consistent with drug impairment.
The driver had a previous impaired driving charge from April 2026 and was prohibited from driving.
The man was arrested and charged with operation while impaired by drugs, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving while under suspension, and failure to surrender a suspended driver's licence.
