One person has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle.
Windsor police were called to Ouellette Avenue and Giles Boulevard East at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, after a 40-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street.
Police said that after the crash, the driver exited his vehicle and was allegedly assaulted by a man who was with the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition. The driver was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
