Two young people have been arrested in connection to a stabbing on the city's west end.
Windsor police say they were called to the area of Huron Church Road and Tecumseh Road West for a stabbing just after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
While on the scene, police learned that a group of young people had arranged to meet for a fight. During the altercation, a knife was pulled and an 18-year-old man was stabbed.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two individuals, who cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have each been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The investigation is ongoing.
