The Ontario Provincial Police say they stopped a vehicle going 239 km/h on Highway 3 on Sunday morning.
An officer was conducting speed enforcement along the highway in Kingsville when he spotted the speeding vehicle in an 80 km/h zone.
Once the vehicle was pulled over, the officer arrested a 29-year-old Windsor driver and charged them with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and stunt driving.
The accused is expected to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on September 11.
The officer also suspended the driver's license for 30 days and impounded the vehicle for two weeks.
