The condo development at Roseland Golf Club can move forward without delay after Windsor City Council approved rezoning for the property on Monday.
The development will include 48 units ranging from $450,000 to $1-million with the majority of parking below ground.
The rezoning approval finalizes the development agreement and allows the sale of the property to proceed.
"Roseland golf course is a gem and what council approved through the rezoning is actually seeing a wonderful addition to the gem that we own," said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens. "The 48 units will likely attract residents who actually live in the area, who want to downsize and sell the four or five bedroom home but stay in the area that they love."
During a news conference announcing the development in April, developer Peter Valente noted they'd likely start construction in the fall. The condo is expected to open by 2028.
Construction on the new clubhouse at Roseland will start around the same time and is expected to be done by summer 2027.
