Kingsville Town Councillor Sheri Lowrie wants answers about last month's boil water advisory in the town.
Lowrie is expected to introduce a notice of motion at Monday night's council meeting calling for an internal investigation into the malfunction at the Kingsville water tower that resulted in a loss of water pressure.
There was a similar malfunction in 2023.
Lowrie's notice of motion also calls for a meeting with Union Water officials, and for administration to report back to council with its findings.
Medical Officer of Health Doctor Mehdi Aloosh issued the boil water advisory on June 25. It was rescinded two days later.
The motion will be debated at Kingsville Town Council's next meeting on September 14.
