Windsor police have provided an update on the case of a suspected scooter swiper.
After several Bird e-scooters were stolen from the Walkerville area two weeks ago, the Windsor police Pawn Unit began investigating.
Its probe uncovered surveillance video from Ouellette Avenue and University Avenue downtown, which showed a suspect taking several e-scooters.

One of the stolen scooters was found cut in half in a nearby alley.
The suspect is described as a White male with a heavy build. He was wearing dark pants, a blue shirt, and a baseball cap.
Anyone who may recognize the suspect should call the Windsor police's Pawn Unit at (519) 255-6700, extension 7431. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
